SSgt Escamilla is sincere and thorough when interacting with subordinates and seniors alike. During this reporting period, he served as the lead Supply Instructor for GCSS-MC. He posses’ tremendous amount of middle management knowledge that exudes during his instruction of GCSS-MC to Supply Marines. Communication being one of his strong points, he naturally dissects complex GCSS-MC technical terminology into easily understood examples for his students. When the GCSS-MC supply courses needed revision, he assisted in the development of the new Specialized Operation Training Module (SOTM) curriculum. SSgt Escamilla sees the mission through, whether it’s staying late to make sure the SOTM are completed and ready for instruction the next day or

    Last Tuesday, 26 March 2013, was our Convening Ceremony, the Naval Command and Staff Course Class 74 (NCSC Cl-74) with RADM JAIME S BERNARDINO AFP as the keynote speaker. RADM BERNARDINO AFP who hails from Taytay, Rizal is the current Commander of the Naval Education and Training Command; who himself is a certified educator. He was a consistent honor student growing up and became a proud member of the Philippine Military Academy Class 81. In the Navy, he completed all career courses with distinction that include the Naval Officer’s Qualification Course in 1981, the Naval Command and Staff Course in 1993 and the Naval Command and General Staff Course in 2001. He talked about the importance of taking up the Naval Command and Staff Course (NCSC) and shared some tips on how to excel and succeed. I have to agree when he quoted that “Taking up the course is not just for compliance but for the students to learn and increase their knowledge”.
