Some people regard video games as harmless fun, or even as a useful educational tool. Others, however, believe that videos games are having an adverse effect on the people who play them. In your opinion, do the drawbacks of video games outweigh the benefits? Essay:

In the modern world, video games became one of the most profitable industry. However, whether video games have negative effects has been received many contradicting perspectives. My essay will discuss both of views and shed personal opinion. On the one hand, video games can be both entertaining and educational. Virtual worlds in video games allowed users experience and apply any private ideas immediately. Throughout completing game processes, gamers are practiced logical thinking and problem solved abilities, all of which can be applied these skills in the real world. Furthermore, it has been showed that playing computer games could improve computer foundations for children and help them prepare for real-world tasks, such as design a software or programs. Nevertheless, I would argue that these benefits are outweighed by the drawbacks. By increasing competitive of gamers in score, reward and skills, video games lead users spend hours per day in a long time. Due to wasting too much time for games, children will lake of time for doing home or sleeping to problems at school. Moreover, lifestyle outside the game context of children could be impacted by virtual lifestyle, which is starting point of many crimes. For example, to impress friends about human abilities, young gamers have tends to attract their class mate or people surrounding and try to show these activities as evidences of strong. After considering both sides, I absolutely agree that the potential dangers of video games are more significant than the possible benefits. So, adult persons should control carefully types of games and timing for games for children
