My answer (301 words)

It may indeed be true to say that children may do their school work during their free time. However, it should be worth enough to mention that they should spend considerable amount of time for their games and game related activities during their free time. I will explain below to support my answer.
First of all, children are the future of every country. It is very important to guide them carefully as soon as they start to learn in either a play school or a kinder garden. A lot of parents nowadays cannot properly guide since both of parents work or they are busy with this modern world. A person who takes cares of these children must give equal guide lines in education as well as game activities. They should be trained physically and mentally fit. For instance, nowadays some children are forced to study even their leisure time but this put them in a tremendous pressure upon their fragile minds.
Second of all, since children are vulnerable, they always tend to play rather than studying. Therefore, control, handle and guide them properly is a must. For instance, our neighbor is having ten years old boy and he always plays computer games soon after his arrival to home. He is neither properly monitored nor controlled. He lives his day time with his grandmother but she cannot control him. It is sad to mention that his parents usually arrive at home late at night. So unfortunately they cannot monitor their child since they are very tired and at that time the child is about to sleep or as sleep.
Finally, in my opinion, children must balance their studies and game activities properly. Therefore, to achieve this, they must be given a proper direction and guidance. They

I think for reducing even eliminating this trend, counseling of parents is necessary so that they do not make their children to participate in such competitive games at such young age in fact indulge them in less tough and rule less games in order to make lives of their children better and happy. Parents should understand that their act of pressurizing children for such games make them to move more far away from the entire concept of sports. I believe that support of these games which only cause mental and physical stress to children should be end as soon as…

It is very important to give children the opportunity to put forward their ideas and provide children with opportunities to express themselves in their own time and using their own words, children should be given plenty of thinking time. The children should always have your full attention when listening to them; this can be achieved through body language, facial expression, speech and gesture. Listening to children is key to establishing a positive relationship; it is essential that teachers listen to children and then respond appropriately, these skills can be modelled to children through speaking and listening. A good starting point would be to talk to the child about what they enjoy, hobbies, schooling, family and friends etc. Show them that you are interested in what they have to say. It is also good to communicate boundaries and make children aware that breaking rules will result in consequences, if this is explained in the right way then a fair punishment can be decided and fairness will result in respect from each part.…

Taking extra time out of the school day for “free time”, can be seen as a waste of time. The additional time given to students may not be used in effective ways. This is in agreement with Perspective Two which claims that giving students a “genius hour” is a waste of time because not everyone will use the time well. For example, some students do not use their time wisely in study halls. However, more often than not, students want to be productive so they will not have as much work to do at home. This ties in with the idea in Perspective Three, which argues that giving students extra free time during the day is a waste of tax dollars, and that…

Everything that is done as a society is centred around enjoyment and leisure; there is sport, technology, and locations, specifically for the purpose of having fun, and even though adults may not wish to admit such a thing, they play just as much as a preschool aged child does . Play is such an important aspect of both a child’s development, that in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, article 31 states that ‘Children have the right to relax, play and to join in a wide range of cultural, artistic and other recreational activities’ As stated by Goldstein, a specialist in play and child development, ‘Play is the lens through which children experience their world and the world of others.’ And as children conquer this world, they develop new skills and competencies that then influence their confidence and resilience in a positive manner, allowing them to have the requirements to face future…

First, it is of no doubt that games which require players to search, negotiate, plan ways and implement strategies to promote to a higher level can help improve children's brain development. However, most of the games involve violence. One of the reasons why the public doesn’t have much good feeling among games is because of the inappropriate content. It can only improve players’ problem-solving skills specifically in the gaming only. The gaming experience can’t be applying much in daily lives.…

Children learn through play. Every moment that the child is playing they are learning new skills, words and meanings. Play gives children the opportunity to explore, take risks, challenge themselves and have fun whilst learning. It is a natural way for children to learn because it uses all of their senses, they are able to take in information and sort this information out in order to solve problems. As play is constantly working a child's brain in a way to help them develop, leisure is also very important to allow the child to de-stress themselves and refresh their minds. Leisure for a child may include things such as sitting down quietly and reading a book, watching the television or sitting down to eat snack and relax.…

For much of my life, since I was young I have played video games and had a lot of screen time when I could. I have learned many things and made great relationships over watching TV and playing video games with friends and family. I beleive going out and putting electronics away is benneficial but I also believe screen time can be just as beneficial for children if not more with all the content that is made for younger and younger children each year. With the endless ammount of electronics being created and used in todays world I also believe learning to use technology at a young age will make it easier for them in their future.…

Leisure activities can relieve stress and reduce fatigue.By playing game with classmates and friends around ,children are able to absorb novel knowledge and thoughts from their peer. On the other hand,Many children have been lost their free time and become mechanical learners. A heavy burden of study leads children nowhere, even their would get tired and bored with study.…
