Solving Conflict In Baseball
A time I was involved in solving a conflict is when I was manager of my baseball team during high school. Baseball is a competitive sport and every athlete on the team has to prove to the coach that they deserve a starting position. Athletes performances during games and practices are how the coach determines whether or not a player can start. Conflicts arise between players where one athlete thinks he should have started over another player. This type of conflict occurred often and sometimes this type of conflict can lead to fights.
There was one situation I had to resolve between two players where one player believed he should be starting pitcher due to the other pitcher’s poor performance in a recent game. When he found out he wasn't able
