Socratic Seminars

Last year, I has Mrs. Sulzbach for English 9 Honors and my favorite thing about her class was probably the people who were in it. Most of the people in my class were very animated and talkative, so they made class discussions fun. Most of the time I find class discussions to be boring and after talking for a while, the conversation normally dies down or people are just repeating the same ideas in different wording, but that never really happened in Mrs. Sulzbach's class. Socratic Seminars were especially fun because the conversation never stopped and a lot of interesting viewpoints were brought up, even if we sometimes strayed onto the weirdest tangents.
