To start a quote by ex-prime minister Gordon Brown said, “there’s no such thing as social class.” Maybe this is why he did not get voted again. Social class, no matter how corrupt or wrong it is, exists in Britain. We are, after all, social beings. Albert Einstein said, “No person is an island”.
I believe that social class started because of money. As West Ham manager Sam Allardyce said, “The position you finish in depends how much money you have.” Yes, at the time money divided people into social classes, it’s obvious. And yes, there is still a level of inequality in our society today, but not the same as it was many years ago when social class became a presence. I am not saying that social class was invented in the 1900’s it has existed ever since there was people on this planet. However, it only was something that caused problems in the 1900’s
Class, like religion, gender, race and other groups are another means of segregation or division in society. It is dividing people depending on their importance and still money in society. I think that it social class should not exist as it annoying and only causes problems. Everyone should work in some mode of employment to make money for themselves and their loved ones. How much someone earns should not determine which social class they are put in. We are all in a social class of society no matter what.
We are all on the same ship at the end of the day. However it is not all doom and gloom. No matter how much someone earns from their job it is a matter of how much someone values money relative to everything else in life. Someone who works harder for something will value it more. This very true no matter what social class you are in. It is also the case that now it is much easier to move social class levels as
