Social Work Ethics Case Study

The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the macro context of social work practice with individuals. The individual that will focus on is Miyu Moto. Miyu is a six yea old little girl that comes from a family of two sisters, both her parents and her grandmother. Miyu’s family came to the United States 18 years ago as political refugees from Hiroshima, Japan. Miyu’s parents Yurari and Gaku have described Miyu to be shy and reserved. Miyu’s teacher is concern about Miyu’s unwillingness to talk and participate in class. Miyu’s teacher has sent several notes homes to Miyu’s parents asking to meet. Although both parents love Miyu, Gaku is very busy at work to meet with her teacher. Where Yurari speaks little English and has no driver’s license, therefore neither parent has been able to respond to the Miyu’s teachers. In
