The Advantages Of Social Networking
Nowadays, social network plays an important role in human life. With the major improvement in sciences and technology development, the social network has gained popularity amongst the people especially teenagers in the 21st century. Social networking is defined as the connection with friends, family, classmates, customers and clients with the use of internet-based social media programs (Investopedia, 2013). The social networking site consists of Twitter, Facebook, Friendster and Instagram. According to Paul (2010), social networks, such as Facebook and Bebo, are indispensable online places that allow users to meet, communicate and share things such as photographs, music or other files; and, most copiously to make short messages, normally in the style of a hand phone text message but shared among a group. While, many say that social networking brings negative effects but in fact there are lots of advantages being involved in social networking. One of the advantage being involve in social networking is you could make new friends through open communication through social networking site. As there are millions of people around the world involving in social networking, we could easily make new friends. Some social network even providing advanced search so that users with the same interest could communicate together. According to E-Guillotine (2013), one could communicate with far more people than you would otherwise able to through social networking. He also claims that, as interaction with people from anywhere through social networking become easy, which have certainly cause the world become smaller. By having open communication with new friends, this could also enhance the sharing and discovering important information news. As a result, one may obtain knowledge such as culture backgrounds of a country that sometimes couldn’t found on internet or textbooks.
