“The Eye of the Beholder”
The movie “The Eye of the Beholder” is about perception and why people see what they see. Michael Gerard is the main charter of the movie. This movies purpose is to show you have people’s perception is different, how different people see different things. This movie shows that people see what they want to see. This movie started out in a messy room with Michael and a women lying on the couch with him standing over her angry. If you were to see this you would assume that they going into a fight and she has been hurt or even murdered. People see what they want to see. Bested on the situation maybe people would assume she has been murdered. After that scene they went back to the beginning to see what people thought about Michael for the past two days.
The first night a waiter saw Michael with a woman at dinner and assumed that they were on a date. When Michael was looking around at other women and went to talk to one, he figured that Michael was a player looking at every woman. The next morning the cab driver thought Michael was a gangster because he was keeping to himself and didn’t want to talk. So because the cab driver was gangster he thought that Michael was one too. The next person Michael ran into was the owner of his studio and the cleaning lady. The owner thought that Michael was a psychopath because he was talking about a painting and how everything fit together perfectly and the cleaning lady thought that he was up to no good because he was in a hurry and had a smirk on this face. A little whiles after that the women from the first scene showed up and they got into a fight. What really happened throughout the days was that Michael was meeting a friend and was keeping an eye for a certain girl his friend was talking about when she walked. He asked her if he could paint her. The next day he was thinking about the light for the painting in the cab so he didn’t want to talk about...
