At the ages of ten to thirteen the needs of these players will be to continue to learn the rules, regulations and fundamentals of soccer. The wants of them will be to have a good time and gain dedication to a sport that Jermain has dedicated his life to. There would be three different sessions to attend; players would have to attend each session to get a full learning experience. Ever since kicking my first soccer ball during Kinder Kicks, soccer has become a fundamental aspect of my life. Not only have I been playing the sport since then, but the sport has also influenced me beyond solely playing it. It is the culture surrounding the game as well. It is waking up early every Saturday morning to watch the Liverpool game, or getting ready to cheer on the New England Revolution in Gillette Stadium in the evenings. Soccer has been embedded everywhere in my life, from the posters on my bedroom walls to the jerseys that continue to accumulate on my closet floor. This passion has driven me to share the sport with as many as I can. With the Natick Soccer Organization, I have been organizing tournaments for U10 and U14 boys…

Now that you have an idea of the rules of professional soccer, I will continue to explain the popularity and passion of the game. Soccer is very widely played all over the world. The most prestigious international soccer competition is that of the world cup, held every four years, it lasts about a month, the most recent one being held in South Africa world cup 2010. With more than a billion viewers a day and tuned in to approximately 30 billion times, it is more popular than the Super Bowl, the World Series, the Masters, and the NBA finals. One reason many researchers believe it is so popular, especially in third world countries is because of the lack of things needed in order to play. All you need is a goal and a ball. Soccer is so much a part of so many people’s everyday lives.…

For the longest time, the United States of America have viewed soccer to be a 2nd class sport and not giving it the same attention as sports like football and baseball. Though, as the years have passed soccer has won over the hearts of the United States. Today the World Cup is the most popular in the United States than it has ever been, however, soccer has been receiving criticism because people believe the it is receiving media coverage that is doesn’t deserve. As I enter my final season of soccer as a senior captain, I have the opportunity to take all the experiences and lessons that shaped me into the person I am today and instill them into the minds of the underclassmen on the upcoming team. The sport of soccer allowed me to develop the social and problem-solving skills necessary to pursue an engineering career. My personal journey of overcoming difficulty to reach greatness throughout high school has molded me into a person who is eager to face new challenges and benefit the lives of…

The person that people admire is the most important person in their life. For me, the most important person that made a change and I admire is my father. He has been by my side ever since I was born. Ever since I was 3yrs old. My eyes always focused on him because he was special to me. It was either because he played soccer and was amazing at it or was it because he took care of me taught me what was good and what was bad. Either ways my father is the most amazing dad that the lord had given me. I don’t know what I would do if he was gone. Just thinking about it makes my eyes water so much that I could fill up a dried up lake. As I was growing up, since my dad liked soccer. My favorite sport was of course soccer. I have been watching him play soccer till he had retired with about 11 championships trophy. He didn’t really play in a professional team but I know that the team he had was really good. They played like pros because they had never lost games! So as I was growing up I’ve been thinking of joining a soccer team. I was 10 years old and I didn’t have to ask my dad if I can join because by the time I wanted to ask him. He came to me first and told me “son, I think is time for you to play in a soccer team.…
