Soccer Is Better Than 18 Essay
This essay is about which FIFA 15 being better than both 16 and 17, but before I start I should mention my credibility. I have been playing FIFA since I was very little, around the age of 4. The first FIFA that I remember having is FIFA 96, which at the time I thought was great. I have seen this game evolve and get better as the years pass. Furthermore, that is my reason for writing this essay. FIFA 15 is better than 16 & 17 mainly because of the skill moves, shooting, speed of the games and set pieces. Skill moves and finesse shooting are great in FIFA 15 definitely better than the ones in the higher versions. Finesse shots are great even though they took a couple of days to get the hang of it, they actually score and curve like they …show more content…
In FIFA 16 everything seems slower including the passes, shots, skill moves, etc. While, in 17 the games moves quick and the players make runs which is good but there are somethings you do not see about to happen while caught up in the moment. Possession is lost very quickly in 17 because of bad passes as well. It is also especially frustrating when the player completely misses balls that he should have easily collected. Set pieces in FIFA 17 have been completely changed and it is not as accurate anymore. In FIFA 15 there seems to be a constant so if you miss aim it by 5 feet you miss by 5 feet but in 17 the ball could go anywhere. This becomes really frustrating for most players, like myself who have spent a lot of time working on free kicks and have just recently mastered them. Corner kicks are also completely different because its easy to score but also easy to defend while the aimer help is on, but once turned off you could kick it anywhere which is not good. So the only time the aimer would actually help is when you are not playing local because they would be able to see where you are going to kick it. In conclusion, FIFA 15 is better than both 16 and 17 because of many reasons including; finesse shots, speed of the game and set

“WEE oooWEEooo”. The sounds of the ambulance roaring in the background, the screaming of commotion, the first aid-responders run onto the field, the parents running after, trying to stay calm. While football is fun, every good thing comes with a consequence. The age for when playing football should be raised to twelve because before twelve, the brain is still developing, players who have played before the age of twelve can have a chance of behavioral issues, and playing before the age of twelve gives a higher risk of CTA.…

Have you ever been injured before? In many sports they are very common because the contact is necessary. When you see a cheap shot or a player that has lost his cool and headhunting, as a ref what do you do? That’s where these new rules come in, although they slow the game down a lot, its probably in the interest of safety. The new rules only increase the time in the box, therefore are not a good change to the game.…

Soccer, to me, is better because it is not as physical. An average 12 high school football players die each year, usually from a concussion or a big hit to the head. I could not even find how many soccer players die each year so i’m guessing none. Football players are more likely to get a concussion because they get hit in the head more than soccer players.…

With advancements in science, the coaches and spectators are not as nervous to watch football games because serious injury is not as common. But more can be done! For instance making the facemask softer can help prevent injury because it will make players think twice before sticking their head in a big hit situation. In this case, fear of damaging the face is more of a risk then a big fine, which most players face after making an illegal hit. As science advances, it will give the players more confidence to step on the field.…

For a throw in to occur the ball must go out of bounds on wither sideline on the pitch. To take a throw in both feet must stay on the ground and the person must throw the ball with both hands over their head. Another rule is if the ball goes out of bounds on either team’s goal line a corner kick is taken. A corner kick is taken by placing the ball on the corner, which the ball was closest to when it went out. A player can also tackle a person that has possession of the ball, but the player tackling must come in contact with the ball before hitting the player with the ball. Also if a foul occurs in the penalty box, which is a box that stretches from the goal eighteen yards long and forty-four yards wide there is a penalty kick, which means the ball is placed in a marked spot twelve yards away from the goal. Another rule is a player can be offside if they are behind the other teams last defender, (not including the goalie). Also the ball is placed for the team not receiving the foul where the player was called…

So changing the rules to the game is not the only place changes need to be made. A focus on improving safety equipment is extremely important as well, mainly the helmets. “A company, Xenith, markets a model with shock absorbers within the helmet… [to] soften the impact to the head… [Xenith] surveyed 540 players using the helmet and found reports of only three concussions” (Geregory). If the helmet could be proven, by an outside source, to greatly decrease the amount of concussion to our football players, than this uniquely designed helmet is a product that would be worth the NFL and leagues everywhere to invest money…

Agility is also needed in football to quickly change direction. For example when 1v1 with a player, you need agility to change direction and accelerate away from the defender in order to go forward and score goals. Agility can be used to losing a defender, creating space for yourself and teammates. This creates good goal scoring opportunities.…

Technology has greatly changed sports. It has changed the training of athletes, what it means to be an athlete, the fan followings of different sports teams, and how you can follow your sports teams. More specifically in sports, the equipment used has greatly changed in almost all sports in some way. In football, the pads have become larger and more protective, the golf clubs used are more aerodynamic, and designed to drive the ball further, and even in swimming instead of using a speedo and a cap, there are now extremely expensive technical suits designed to keep you up in the water, and prevent your muscles from fatiguing.…
