Soccer Ball Symbolize Me
The first symbol I used that symbolizes me is a soccer ball. A soccer Ball symbolizes me because soccer is my passion. I first started playing soccer when i was four years old and have played ever since. I play club soccer at Charlotte Soccer Academy and i've been on the varsity team at Piedmont all 4 years of High School. I don't only love soccer because of they joy it brings me when playing, I love it because the people I get to know who love the sport just as much as I do. Most of my friends I have met through playing soccer. I enjoy going to practice everyday and playing the game I love and being around people who love to play, too. A soccer ball symbolizes me because It has been part of my life for a long time.
The second symbol that symbolizes me is a family tree. A family tree symbolizes me because my family is one of the most important things in my life. Growing up, I always spent lots of time with my family. We always went to the beach and to the mountains every year. One reason my family is such a big part of my life is because I know they will always be there for me and I will always be there for them. In the end, if my friends go away, my family will be there for me. Another reason my family is so important is because I have such a big family. I grew up with 4 sisters

A stethoscope symbolizes me because since the time I was five, I wanted to be a nurse when I grow up. I've always looked forward to the day I can achieve this goal and do what I would love to do. The reason I want to be a nurse is because I love to help people who are in pain and help get better. When I was little, my dad would always come home with cuts and scrapes from work. I would always put neosporin on him and bandage it up. Also, My sister is a nurse and I would always go and volunteer at her work. The joy it brought me to help people was immense. A stethoscope symbolizes me because it is part of my dreams and part of my

The first symbol being the side kick, which symbolizes a child. The second is a hero, which symbolizes a parent. At the end of the poem it talks about how side kicks remind us of a part of ourselves that is like a child, never wanting to grow up and always wanting to look up to our hero’s (parents) for help and guidance. The poem also talks about how a side kicks’ outward appearance is not perfect like a hero’s, but they don’t care or get jealous of a hero because they look up to them for support or guidance. It talks about a side kick being sad because the best of ourselves (hero’s) lowered into the ground (funeral), tears pouring off that enormous nose (sad for the…

How many people sit down and think about what symbolizes their lives? A symbol is a person place or thing that suggests something other than its literal meaning. In John Steinbeck’s “The Chrysanthemums” Elisa Allen lives on a ranch with her husband Henry in Salinas Valley. Henry is off talking to men about the livestock on the ranch while Elisa is tending to her garden. A tinker comes up to their yard and begins to talk to Elisa about his work and all of his travels. He tries to get Elisa to let him work, but she does not feel that she needs any work done. The tinker notices the garden of chrysanthemums, and tells Elisa that he knows a woman that wants to grow them. Elisa develops a short lived attraction to the tinker as she is offering him the flower and giving him careful instructions on taking care of them. Steinbeck uses symbolism throughout this short story. Things such as the wire fence around the garden, the changing of Elisa’s clothing, and the chrysanthemums themselves mean something beyond their literal meaning. Everyone has an item or person that symbolizes their life.…

My symbol and the Suicide Tree have more parallels than just meaning. As a child being a member of the church was something that seemed out of reach and not something that I wanted. Just as the Suicide Tree is thought as a giant of Gene’s childhood (Knowles 3). However, that fear was soon dissipated once I understood what it meant. Gene’s fear of jumping out of the Suicide Tree was completely gone when he jumped after Finny fell (Knowles 28).…

My whole symbol revolves around an American flag because I am American. On stripes area of the flag I put the sports that I play every year, which are basketball, football, baseball, and track. If you look inside the track symbol you will see the number 400 because I run 400’s in track. The basketball is the biggest and in the middle because it is my favorite sport to play. If you follow the sports counter clock wise around the flag you will find the order of my favorite sports. I like basketball because you get to run a lot and it could get physical. I like football because you get to tackle kids without getting in trouble. The reason I do track is to travel to towns with your friends and to get the feeling of winning. I enjoy playing baseball…

Hercules was a very powerful mythological character. In one myth, “He was the King of Tiryns [, a small city in southern Greece]” (Schwab 156). Also in many myths, it was predicted by Zeus that Hercules would one day rule over Greece (“Hercules”). However, none of these were true, though he did have a power: Hercules had duper-human strength. With his super-human strength, he did many things: as a child he strangled two serpents sent by Hera to kill him, he held up the heavens while Atlas went on errands and he over-powered Cerberus without weapons (“Hercules”).…
