Look around—are there flying cars, personal robots or hover boards? The answer is hopefully no; however, the technology that is available matters. Current technology varies from wearable tech to mobile and recreational drones. Customers are complex individuals. Therefore, marketers cannot just categorized based on one demographic, especially when Generation X members are on Snapchat and Millennials read books in print. Do you know who your customers are?
