I chose the last case of the list. The case is about Snapchat, the mobile app that offers a photo sharing service. The distinguish promise of Snapchat is that the photos and videos you send disappear. However, the FTC states that this is a false promise and that Snapchat is lying to their costumers. So, Snapchat is violating the law because the company has not kept their privacy promises to consumers. Also, Snapchat has access to the contacts, numbers, and location of their consumers and this is not stated, consumers do not know about this. According to the FTC each violation may result in a civil penalty of up to $16,000. Finally, I made some extra research and I found that the FTC announced on December 31, 2014 that the commission voted 5-0…

They thought it was funny, we actually became friends. The third guy just asked me why I loved him and I responded “because you're a beautiful human being”, he laughed and said nice to meet you. We also became friends. The girl that asked me why I told her I loved her said to me “before you say anything I’m not lesbian” I was really amused because I wasn’t flirting with her for her to think I actually liked her and loved her. I was the one feeling more awkward I have to admit. I told her it was a social experiment I was doing for my sociology class and apologized, she said “oh okay cool” and walked away. That was one of the most awkward situations I was put in throughout the experiment. When I broke the social norm with my professors it was…

As I was writing my personal narrative for my composition 1 class, it easily made my mind boggle. After I had got started on my personal narrative, it was easy for me to keep writing and keep following along the story line. Evan Spiegel went to Crossroad School for Arts and Sciences in Santa Monica, where he would spend his weekends exploring the art of Photoshop. He did end up going to Stanford University for product design which eventually lead to Spiegel entering the Kappa Sigma fraternity where he met co-founder of Snapchat that eventually went on to create the Billion Dollar smart phone app that teens are talking about. We can infer that the project of Snapchat was created through a passion that started from Spiegel since he was in his teenage years. Evan Spiegel and Bobby Murphy, co-founder of Snapchat, came up with the idea of this featured app that was originally called Picaboo. Despite how popular the app is now, it was originally shot down by many potentially…
