Smuggling In Sierra Leone

Smuggling is the act of illegally transporting goods from one country to another part of the country or into another country. Illegal weapon smuggler are often caught with multiple guns, ammo and explosives. They run the chance of either getting caught leaving a country or trying to get in another one. The famous group the RUF who was responsible for smuggling almost all of their weapons to help fight in the blood diamond war. In Sierra Leone, being a poor country, border checkpoints were not really seen their until the government found out how the RUF was getting the money to buy all the equipment they had in their arsenal.
