Growing up in a Christian home with many nurses, I was taught that marijuana or types of drug are not good for the body. I was told that marijuana slows your concentration, distorts your perception difficulty with problem-solving and impaired driving. I was also taught that it impact your body as well as the mind, can slow down reflexes and impair decision-making capabilities. Growing up, I was not friends with people who smoked marijuana or any substance for that matter, so I did not learn any information about pot from them. I think this information about weed should be shared with high school, middle school, and college students. Schools need to start telling their students about the dangers of marijuana starter with middle school. The more information students learn about marijuana from the lower grade that will more likely have a strong impact on them when they are in junior high.
