Every year hundreds of thousands of people around the world dies from diseases causing by smoking cigarettes, one in two lifetime smokers die from their habit, tobacco smoke also contributes to a number of cancers, the mixture of nicotine and carbon monoxide in each cigarette people smoke temporarily increases you heart rate and blood pressure, straining your heart and blood vessels. This can cause heart attack and stroke; it slows your blood flow, cutting off oxygen to your feet and hands. Even though people know that this can cause them death they still doing it. Carbon monoxide robs your muscles, brain and body tissue of oxygen, making your whole body weak. All smokers think that by smoking they are only damaging their health. They are ignorant about the fact that their smoking is indirectly affecting others health and they are one of the direct contributions to the environmental pollution. There are few environmental issues, which every smoker should be aware of. Smoking affects your environmental greatly. It is quite evident that smoking causes air pollution and to some extent also pollutes the ground, according to health community approximately 4000 chemicals are present in cigarettes, which are breathed out and released in the atmosphere, also pollution due to smoking is not confined only to the air or body but to some extent it is also responsible in polluting the land and the water, every day millions of cigarette butts are left on the ground, maximum of the cigarette finally end up in lakes and rivers, by mistake fishes and other water bodies, the various additives and well as plats, during dry seasons cigarette can even cause major fire, which is even harmfuk for the environment. The public ban on smoking is the right thing to do because it will help in reducing the effects on our society, it will not only help in reducing the effect that smoking is having on humans but also reduce its negative side effects on society in the environment.
