This project’s report is about MOTIVATION.I tried my best to discuss all the relevant concepts and topics of Learning and motivation in SME BANK. To complete my task I select head office of SME BANK, BLUE AREA ISLAMABAD to gather all the relevant information regarded with my topic. Motivation has a big impact on the performance and productivity of the employee in almost all the organizations. In the motivation, same as learning if they will be motivated that will cause positive impact on the performance. Employees can be motivated both in intrinsic and extrinsic way. In this report, I summarized about the culture, values and other things about the organization. As well as how learning and motivation affect the performances of employees. Theories Motivation are also applied on SME BANK.

The SME Bank was formed and incorporated as a public limited company under the Companies Ordinance 1984. The Government of Pakistan is the major Shareholder of the bank (93.88%). As part of financial sector restructuring program of Government of Pakistan, Regional Development Finance Corporation (RDFC) and small Business Finance Corporation (SBFC) were amalgamated into SME Bank Ltd effective January 1, 2002. SME bank Ltd was established to exclusively cater to the needs of the SME sector. It was created to address the needs of this niche market with specialized financial products and services that will help stimulate SME development and growth in the country.
Reason for Selection: Small and medium enterprises play a vital role in the development of the economy and especially in under-developed countries. In Pakistan, SME bank is a specialized organization that caters to this segment of the economy. The importance of this organization is further enhanced for it lies in the public sector. There are many challenges that this organization faces and certain strengths that it wields being a public enterprise.
We will be the leading institution for providing financial assistance for the development and support of Small and Medium Enterprises in Pakistan We will respond to the needs of Small and Medium Enterprises by providing them with the necessary financial assistance and business support services in the form of medium to long term funds. We will, through support of the SME sector, contribute to the growth of local entrepreneurs, develop export markets and provide employment opportunities in the country.
