HOW HAS THE INTRODUCTION OF SMART PHONES CHANGED THE WAY WE DO BUSINESS

Over the past decade, smart phones have become a part of daily life, which have completely changed the way we live and work. In business, the smart phone has been used as one of the most important appliances which can quickly reach target customers. This essay will talk about how has the introduction of smart phones changed the way we do business.
Smart phone, that is, a mobile phone with more developed computing capability than any other phone, has been widely used for several years in business (Kumar, 2013, p. 59). Due to its powerful operating systems that encourage application download and development, most of companies use them as part of tools to publicize their businesses. For example, utilizing mobile advertising via social network, e.g. Facebook and Twitter, has become popular which eMarketer shows the trends of more people tending to use the smart phones worldwide will total 1.75 billion in 2014 (Smartphones users worldwide, 2014).
For businessmen, the smart phones can help them access to a world of information at their fingertips, and interact easily with their clients and colleagues. They help people communicate each other all around the world, especially sending or receiving emails. Stephen (2011, para. 3) identifies the expected response time for email message has decreased from one to three business days to about two to twelve hours, so smart phones have started to become indispensable.
To conclude, it can also be said that smart phone is change the world, especially in business. It is a technological invention that can help people fast access to a world information. While smart phone is the most powerful and necessary apparatuses, it can boost up work efficiency. Undoubtedly, they entirely change the way we do business today.
