Ossining is a unique town for many reasons. One reason is because of the famous legend of Sleepy Hollow. Ossining is located near the town of Sleepy Hollow. The Sleepy Hollow Cemetery is best known for a lot of things and mostly for itś famous stories . It’s a well known cemetery . Viola Allen was buried there as well . Many important people has been there to visit, its famous cemetery. This cemetery has been in many movies as well. Itś located in Sleepy hollow new york 10591. This cemetery was built in 1849. Itś a really old cemetery . As well as Washington irving was buried there. This cemetery is best known as “The legend of sleepy hollow “.

It's a really cool place to visit if you want to know more about it but it´s a really interesting place for people to visit , because there's a bunch of cool statues and figures that are just really nice to see and visit. It's open till 8am - 4:30 pm . So many different fun and interesting events go on there, On halloween there is a sleepy hollow haunted house event where you could go there and visit the haunted house , there is a bunch of different kinds of legends there of what they call¨ the legend of sleepy hollow ¨people love to go there as well because maybe they go
buried in the sleepy hollow cemetery . One of the Sculptures in that cemetery is the “Charles henry israels “, he died in 1911 at the age of 47 and he was an architect which he created it himself , there is also another sculpture of Depicts Own Jones , a wealthy dry goods dealer in the 19th century . . Another one that i found really interesting was a statue of an actress but it’s more of a monument to Edwin lester , tour guides refer mostly to ‘’Drew barrymore” because it resembled the actress
