Many stories are often turned into movies that are sometimes not very similar. Some people think that movies are better and some people think that the books are better. Many of the movies have won awards along with the book that it was made after. Most of the time the books have more details than the movies and are able to create a better plot for the people to follow
The Sleepy Hollow is the first of the three books that have a good comparison between the story and the movie. During The Sleepy Hollow one of the main differences is that in the movie the headless horseman is real and in the book, the horseman is the town's imagination. Another difference in the book is that in the movie the main character seems to Passout a lot, but in the story the character does not faint at all.
