Sleep Persuasive Speech
Sleep plays an essential role in our everyday lives, it is the way to heal humans, and prepare them to carry out their daily tasks. Humans need a certain amount of sleep each night in order to get the energy they need the next day. But those who don’t receive the correct amount, can take short naps to temporarily boost your energy and concentration level. Sometimes people don’t get the required amount of sleep so they end up feeling down in the dumps. Therefore sleep is important to humans of all ages.

Humans need a certain amount of sleep to heal themselves for the next day. For example, in Source #1 it states, “Bad sleep habits and long-term sleep loss will affect your health.” This explains how sleep loss can affect people’s lives. If humans sleep the required amount of hours, they wouldn’t experience health problems. Secondly, in Source #1 it explains how people need the energy they receive from sleep to function the following day. This demonstrates how sleep is essential to the human body. Firstly, it states in source #2 that, “people who took 30 minute naps at least three times a week were 37% less likely to die of heart disease.” This shows that there are many long-term benefits to napping as well. This also proves that even if someone does receive enough sleep at night, taking a short nap may affect them positively as well. Secondly, it also states in the article that “even a 26-minute nap boosted a pilot's mental performance by 34%.” Seeing that such a short nap had such great benefits on someone, shows how easily you can maximize your energy.
