Slavery Today, many people don’t know why or how slavery came to be. The causes and effects of slavery in the atlantic world for Europeans, native Americans And Africans. Europeans originally used indentured servants from europe and Native Americans as slaves in the americas . Shortly after, the Native Americans started to die from european diseases. Indentured servants are people from europe who wanted land in the americas but couldn't afford it. So they came over and work for seven years as slaves. After the seven years, they would get land and stuff for them to start a farm. But, most indentured servants died before the seven years were done because they aren't use to working in the heat and also they aren't use to tropic diseases. Then Europeans remembered that Africans lived in tropic places and had immunity to european diseases. Africans also weren't christians so europeans used that against them. The Africans also didn't know the territory so it would be harder for them to escape and if they did escape it would be easy to catch them because of

The slaves then worked on making the goods so the products could be traded for more slaves. Slaves drove triangular trade because without slaves their wouldn't be any products to trade.
