Employers use it to identify potential candidates. Job specifications make it easy to determine a person because it establishes the educational background and skills of the person who will fill the position. Some specifications are easier to identify than others. It is hard to determine whether or not a candidate has leadership qualities or the ability to work effectively as a team member.

5 Ⅰ The hiring process begins when an employment need is identified because an employee has left the company or a new contract creates a need for more employees. Ⅱ When a company has a position that needs filled they look with in the company for candidates. Ⅲ If a candidate is not found within the company employment agencies and other methods of recruiting are used to bring candidates to fill the position.
