Julius Caesar and Abraham Lincoln are two men who made history through their leadership expeditions. When comparing the two one thing that comes to mind is their assassination. Besides their similarity between the two assassinations, there are some differences. However, the major similarity between the two is the that they were both murdered. In fact, they were both carried out by people who disagreed with their power and authority as well as how they used it. Julius Caesar was a Roman general and a statesman. He turned the Roman Republic into the mighty Roman Empire. His dynasty and his life ended on the Ides of March. His birth marked a new chapter in history. By the age of 31, he had fought in many wars and got involved in Roman politics.
