Similarities Between Hamlet And Lion King

Hamlet and the Lion King have many similarities and differences throughout the movies. All throughout the movie and play you realize that they go hand in hand. A few of the things that fit with the compare and contrast are how both of the fathers die and everyone thinks it was an accident, many relationships are fairly similar as well, and lastly both of the main characters have to overcome a struggle in their life. In the movies both fathers die “mysteriously.” Hamlet's father was killed by the uncle as was Simbas father.
