Similarities Between David And Goliath
The Beliefs:
- There are many Christian beliefs; here are some of the most common beliefs that Christians have.
- Christians believe that god created everything, from the turtles in the sea, to the air we breathe, everything seen and unseen.
- Jesus is the Son of God and that Jesus and God are one together
- Jesus Died after being crucified, he was buried in a tomb and then disappeared
Jesus had disappeared from the tomb and was found alive (Christians call this the Resurrection)
After Jesus died he was taken up to heaven where he would be with God the Father.
All people can receive salvation in the name of Jesus Christ.
People, who repent their sins, will be forgiven.

A Philistine giant measuring over nice feet and wearing full armour mocked the Israelites for a continuous forty days. His name was Goliath, everyone was terrified of Goliath. One day a rather small kid named David volunteered to fight the very scary Goliath. Dressed in a simple tunic, carrying his slingshot, shepherd’s staff and a pouch full of stones, David then slung one of the stones from his pouch, the stone hit the giant slam bang right in the middle of the Giants forehead. David then took Goliath’s sword, killed him and then cut off his head.
The meaning behind David and Goliath is that a problem no matter how big or small can be overcome by underdogs if the motivation is there. If you have God on your side, you will always win, regardless of all the odds against you.
There was once a boy, he was not any ordinary boy this boy had incredible power and strength, his name was Samson. As Samson grew older he started liking girls, there was one girl in particular that Samson had his eye on. A prostitute called Delilah.
