My grandfather passed before I was able to see him, but based on what I heard, he was a good family man. My daddy is a very hardworking man. He is a bit strict but at the end of the day he just wants the best for my siblings and me. I am extremely close to my mother; I can talk to her about anything in my life. My cousins are all close to me; they are interesting and always give me company. While I am the youngest of all my brothers, but they are the ones that I do everything with. I play, work, and do most things with them. My sisters are also a big part of my life, my younger sister looks up to me and she knows that I will always protect her and just want the best for her, and my older sister is very smart and talks to me about women. Summary: Next To Normal

Next to Normal contains both core and high concepts. In my opinion, the core concept attempts to make mental illness relatable to the audience. For the song “My Psycho-pharmacologist and I”, a giant pill bottle prop and many smaller pill bottles are shown on stage to give the audience an idea of how much of an ordeal it is for Diana to treat her mental illness. Throughout the show, the colors and direction of lighting are used to create a surreal atmosphere in which nothing feels ‘real’ for Diana. Even Diana’s costuming aims for relatability. Although Diana is struggling to keep herself afloat, she still wears in bright colored dresses. This is a really interesting choice because it alludes to Diana’s longing for control. Although everything…

Although I am a little rough around the edges, I have a soft spot in my heart for those whom I love. My family keeps me going through the good, the bad, and the ugly. My parents are still happily married, even through twenty-two years of putting up with four children. My three sisters are amazing. Their names are Shannon, Ashley, and Lynnsy. I do, in fact, play favorites when it comes to siblings. Ashley is my favorite because she is always around helping me with whatever I need. I also am very close to my cousin, Matt Hare, and his family. I consider everyone an acquaintance because I do not like to get too close to people emotionally. If there was ever anything that any of my family needed, I would do everything I could to help them obtain it..…

I am thankful for my grandparents because they took me in when no one else could. They jumped in the moment I needed and were there for me then and still are now. They put up a wall upstairs and I officially moved in I have been living with them for four and half to five years now. My grandma and I also bake and make food together. My grandmother was the one who made me interested in cooking and baking. Every night she would make herself a salad or something she liked, she would make something else for my grandfather, and them for me. She did this almost every night of every week and never ate until we had our food. They’re loving because they always put me first and make sure that I am doing good in school and that I am happy. If we ever go on a trip they will go somewhere for me even if they don’t want to because they want to make my experience the best that they possibly can. My grandparents are simply two of the most wonderful people I have ever met.…

I would have to say that I have a good relationship with everyone on my mom's side compared to my dad's side. My grandfather lives in Puerto Rico and we only see him during Christmas time. He divorced my grandmother a couple years before I was born and I absolutely hate his wife. I love my grandmother, even though I don't see her as much either. But we aren't as close as I am with my other grandmother. I seriously think that my aunt is insane, therefore I don't talk to her as much as I should. My cousin is attending college in some state that I am unaware of, so that should say enough about my relationship with him. I really wish I was closer with him, though. Then comes my dad. To be honest, I don't love my father. Sometimes I think that I'm a really bad person for not loving him, but I can't help it. He and I barely exchange words around the house. There is just something about him that I don't respect.…
