Should There Be Syrian Refugees Essay

“Did you know, there are about 14.1 million Syrian refugees trying to come to America?” (American Immigration Council). That's more than half of Rhode Island’s population. There are many Syrian refugees in Syria that want freedom but we can't all have freedom. There is this saying, freedom is not free. It really isn't because we have soldiers fighting for our freedom. So I think that the Syrian refugees should not come to America. I know that not all of them are bad, but it's not about the religion or who they are it’s about safety. The safety of our lives and the future generation is at stake. So the refugees of Syria should not be allowed in America.

We should not have refuges in, America because over the year there people have killed
They are malnourished, ill, and been ran out of their country. They also need a warm place to stay and food just like us. We are supposed to be a country that helps. But we also need to help the people in our country. The ones that are malnourished, sick and in poverty. We have to make our country better first because right now we have a lot of problems. Our poverty percentage is 22% according to 2010 census.(The University of Michigan). Also we have a population of 320,480,00 living in America.(wikipedia) We have others to care about than the refugees. We have medicine to give to American citizens that need help. The refuges might need help but we have to help our country
Also they don’t care who you are or were you are from if you're a threat they kill you. There have been many attacks this year around the world by their rebels. So now it's hard to trust them because of all of the things they have done this year. Also we have to think about the future lives of America. The more trouble we get in the harder it will be able to get out of the trouble just because we put ourselves
