Dietrich Bonhoeffer says, “Judging others makes us blind, whereas love is illuminating. By judging others, we blind ourselves to our own evil and to the grace which others are just as entitled to as we are.” Due to the society we live in today we make judgements about people based on the color of their skin, the symmetry of their face, their clothing, their personality, and their behavior. Our everyday lifestyle is like ethnicity. A person’s ethnicity comes from things they’ve learned from their surroundings. We do things and do not realize the effectiveness of our actions. We see things and we mock them.…

As a person takes a look at the busy and diverse world that surrounds them, they may wonder why certain things appear a certain way. They may form opinions about certain issues or people not because they actually know what‘s going on, but because of what they see or hear. People judge. Even so, people don't always think about the results of their judgments, and the fact that those little opinions formed could end in complete tragedy.…

Condemnation of gays can be religious. Most the time this happens when people of a church condemn gays in view of the fact that they do not agree with them, instead of showing them grace. People can disagree with homosexuality but not condemn the person for it. However, there is a debate that the Bible disagreeing with gays may be a quirk of history instead of a moral precept. The author makes a statement that “ Those who invoke religious sentiments for their attitudes toward gays, then, need to examine whether their religious beliefs are here not really a disguise for some animus for which they have no reasons”. In my opinion, people that do not agree with homosexuals on account of a religious stand point cannot condemn them and patronize them. Given that they are wanting a gay to live by the same morals they do they need to treat them with the same respect they would a non homosexual because if a person notices you being repulsive and saying hurtful words to someone just because you disagree with their way of life, it is not proceeding the person to want to live by the same morals and standards you do. Maybe homosexuals have not seen enough grace by religious people to want to be…

Homosexuality on the other hand is one of those behaviors that, even with extensive explanation, it is still misunderstood and looked down upon. In the article “Biased assimilation and attitude polarization in response to learning about biological explanations of homosexuality” by David Vogel & Guy Boysen, a study was ran to see if knowing about the biological reasons of homosexuality will change their negative opinions about it. Vogel & Boysen mentioned “learning about biological explanations of homosexuality does not universally increase positive attitudes.” (Vogel & Boysen p. 756). What they meant is that the people who had negative attitudes towards homosexuality did not change at all, because they already had a preexisting biased about homosexuality and the cause of the behavior. This shows that even with all the biological and psychological evidence possible, the people with negative attitudes will just use these well-founded evidences as excuses for their opinions to change on homosexuality. The study showed that people who viewed homosexuality in a positive way, before knowing the biological reasons, found the biological reasons more persuasive than those who had negative attitudes towards homosexuality. Homosexuality has not lost its stigma over the past few decades, but most of the negative attitudes come from not knowing whether homosexuality is biologically…

All people are different. Sometimes, if a person doesn't look or act in a way that is familiar to us, we can make assumptions about that person even though we don't know who they are, or their full story. Many people wouldn’t ever admit that they can be prejudice. Even if you are the nicest, most non-judgemental person in the world, you are most likely going to judge people at times. It’s hard to admit, but I sometimes find myself judging people a lot by what is on the surface. It is human nature to pre-judge but I try my hardest not to.…

Judgemental Destruction Believe it or not judgements are a part of everyday life whether you like it or not. You may not see this, but you yourself make judgements every day. To begin , gay people should not be judged just because they are different from others or like people the same gender as them . For example ,¨ what the people think of being gay does not matter to the world, it is not a reflection of all religion people . Gay marriage is going to happen . It must .¨ by Lady Gaga . In other words , this explains how just because people are different they should not care what others think about them . That if people wanna be gay and get married they should go on and do what makes them happy they should not care what other people think and let them ruin their happiness . We are all humans and we all have feelings no one should should get in the way because in my society we should all have equal rights as being a human and do what makes us happy .…
