Should National Government Take Away Gun Rights

Should the National Government take away gun rights? One, should it be the States rights? If the National Government took away everyone's guns no one could protect themselves. But if citizens are armed they could protect their family, friends and themselves. If everyone is armed they would be safe but also dangerous. It's a right to bear arms but it's the common good that's not everyone is armed, that's where background checks come in. When someone buys a gun they have to be checked for any criminal history.

Citizens of the United States have different views on gun control. Some citizens demand it because they think that all the violence will stop. Others think they will be safe if they are armed. Both stances are some what correct and they are both similar. If criminals that people are armed they might not try to rob or mug the citizens or committee crimes. But it also not good to have everyone armed. That's why it should be States rights so the people choose not the Government. This is popular sovereignty, it's government for the people by the people also their individual rights.

Some people hunt for food so they can live, if their guns are taken away then they can't hunt. It is pretty much telling them to move or forget everything that they have been taught and learned.
