Should Kids Get Paid For Doing Well In School Essay
Have you ever thought that you should be rewarded when you do something good in school, like getting good grades? If students get rewarded for doing something good in school the students will work harder. Some kids that get paid for their efforts and good grades in school will save some of their money for important things. Schools would not be open if students did not attend the school, so kids should get paid for going to school and doing good in school. Kids should definitely get rewarded for doing well in school.
A major reason why parents should reward their children for doing well in school is because their children will most likely work harder. According to the study TIMES, kids improved more in school when they got paid when they did easy things like going to school and doing something as easy as reading. Bailey, a classmate of mine said this “If i got paid for getting good grades in school I would start studying earlier so I could get good grades on my test.” This information proves that most kids will work harder when they get rewarded for doing good things in school. If schools did not have students to attend school the school would be out of business. Also if kids did not want to be there, they will not try and they will not get good grades. If they do not get good grades the school will not have a good reputation and no one will want to send their kids to that school. 30% Detroit's charter schools have closed and academics is one reason. If the academics rate was us maybe it would be 15% that closed not 30%. The reasons above show that schools would not be open if it was not for the students so kids should get paid for going to
