Should Gun Control Laws Be Changed
Gun control laws need to be changed. They are very inadequate and unstable in many ways. Citizens are buying weapons and ammunition that they are not mentally suited for and don't have good intentions to use the equipment.
For a very tragic example of someone who bought a gun and was not mentally stable, is the Sandy Hook Elementary Shooting. The perpetrator (Adam Lanza) was not mentally stable and had a very disturbing childhood.In the fourth grade, Adam had an obsession with guns and war. As a child that is a red flag to all teachers. Also he felt obligated to kill his mother, 20 children, 6 staff members, and then himself. As tragic as this incident was, the family's emotions could of been spared by stricter gun laws.
