Should the NCAA pay college athletes for all the hard work and dedication? There are a lot of suspicions about players already getting payed. Some colleges have already paid the families of the student athletes. Most of these student athletes have worked so hard their whole life to be able to get to a stage in their lives where they can finally help provide for their families and make something of themselves by succeeding in life. Most of all these student athletes are just trying to make it in life and most of them have hard lives when they go home. Most of these student athletes would not be in college if it was not for these scholarships they have worked hard to get. Most of these student athletes need this money to help make it through.
These students get nothing in return for their hard work they put in all year round to succeed on and off the field. Do you know how many of much work these student athletes put in? They will work all year round if they know they can better themselves and better their team and help the team get a win. College athletes must go through a crazy amount of training and preparation day in and out to get themselves ready. They get up early in the morning for workouts before breakfast or class every day, after class they have workouts, they also have practice, and after all that they still manage to do their school work because they are trying to get a degree on top of trying to make themselves a professional athlete. They do all that and provide the college with great athletics for nothing. These colleges are using these college athletes for money. The amount of tickets they sell, the jerseys, posters, pictures, and there is a lot more.
