Abstract

This investigation was outlined and evaluated the research question of should animal experimentation be banned in varies sites. For the past five decades, there has been a widespread argument for the use of animals in medical science and product testing which is controversial. By looked through medical perception, it undeniable sometimes animals testing have made a valuable contribution to human health. However, looked at another site, animal tests in turn creates serious damage which are dangerously misleading information toward human health, increases ricks endangering and contribute to the making new diseases and even death towards animals. Moreover, animal experimentation such a waste of resources, scarified money and time and also unethical action which have been violated animals’ rights.

2.1Findings from animal testing are unreliable Indeed, there are many modern medical advances such as antibiotics and vaccine exposed to animals have came out with different results, reaction and treatments as humans. This is because of animals have vastly different genetic backgrounds and physiological properties compared to humans. For instance, penicillin was an antibiotic which was discovered by Alexander Fleming in 1929 (Safer Medicines, 2016). It has shown that Guinea Pigs were killed after using Penicillin, but for humans, it is still known as a useful antibiotic which is commonly used to treat any kind of infections which is caused by bacteria, to save human lives (Animal Research, 2016). Another real life case is the use of the drug thalidomide. Based on a research report of The Physician Committee (2016), it is proven that it has inversely effects on pregnant animals and pregnant mother. They have right to be treated with respect, animals are deserved to live their lives free from suffering and carrying on pains, physical harms. According to Sri Aurobindo (2010), he stated that life is life no matter in a cat, or dog or man. There is no difference there between a cat and a man. The idea of difference is a human conception for man's own advantage. So far in comparison of the biggest difference between humans and animals is just humans have abilities such as they are able drive, speak and write.
