Short Story: Jimmy Potters
On a desk in a college dorm room, most have useful things. Boxes, notebooks, and lamps, all of which are normally there. Jimmy Potters, a sophomore student at Marshall College, has massive amount of different things on his desk. Some items have “Top Secret” written on them. Jimmy is sitting down at his desk while the sun is ready to set. People outside his window are playing bean bag toss set about 25 feet apart. Right before he looks at his desk, Jimmy suddenly looks at the envelope stating “Top Secret ” on it. Jimmy is about to grab the envelope and someone mysteriously put his or her hand onto his left shoulder. Things ran through Jimmy’s mind thinking “What is he/she doing here? Where is he/she from?”

Charley toggles with the switch to the light and his face looks weird. Jimmy is dumbfounded as much as people are looking at a Rubik’s Cube. Both of them thought that the switch was dead. But they tried to turn on the T.V. and it didn’t turn on.
“The power is out!”, Charley exclaimed. Jimmy decides to make the phone call to get some information. The mysterious person explained this statement, “What has to be opened to get out of here? If you can catch a person outside you can use them for help for only 45 seconds without consequence.”
This turn of events caused Jimmy, the communicative one, to be happy. “What are we going to ask for outside? Who am I able to get a hold of quickly?”, Jimmy questioned.
Charley’s light bulb went off in his head. “Let’s use the phone to text your friends to get them to come to the room.”, he thought. Jimmy thought that this was okay but, he found a paper outside of the door that read, “Watch what you say to others?” Both of them talked about the paper. They figure out that they would call their residence assistant (RA) to get their word spread quietly throughout the campus. This occurred within 15 minutes before the bomb went

    Michael unlocked all the doors to set free the others with powers just like him. They greeted each other and explain what power they have. But for Michael still he felt depress because he couldn’t save his mother. But Taylor gave a kiss on the Michael’s cheek to help him cheer up. Michael blushed and said thanks but still he felt depressed. Ostin asked him if he as feeling alright but Michael just replied by giving a smile. After several minutes, they decided to call Taylor’s parents. But before leaving calling, Ostin made an announcement that all the others with powers have joined the Electro Clan. After 30 minutes, there were cops, SWAT team, and Taylor’s parent outside. The cops arrested the guards that were shocked and Taylor’s parent came in to see Taylor. When the cops came they took the other with powers first to a hospital to check if they are hurt. Then suddenly a man in a tuxedo came and it was the president. He greeted Taylor, Michael, and Ostin and thanked them for saving the others. Also before leaving, Micahel heard a button and on the screen on the computer shows that there is one room that is still locked. All of these thoughts got into Michael, “Is that my mother?” Michael told the cops to come to the second floor to open the door. When they arrived the cops got a metal stick and broke the air locked room. Michael immediately opens the door and he couldn’t believe it. It was his mother! He picked her up, she wasn’t moving at all and so they ran to the ambulance outside. An hour later in the hospital, the doctor said “I’m sorry Michael she couldn’t make it.” Michael exploded with rage and surged with all his strength. The hospital exploded into flames and everyone died including Michael and the others with powers.…
