Short Biography: Neil Degrasse Tyson
Neil deGrasse Tyson was born on October 5, 1958, and he was raised in New York. Neil, growing up to be an astrophysicist, first found his love for space from the Hayden Planetarium when he was 9. After he graduated from the Bronx High School of Science, he studied at Harvard, and got his Astrophysics PHD from the Columbia University. He got his first job in the Hayden Planetarium, where he was first inspired. In fact, today he serves as its director. Neil has a very interesting career. He started out working for the Hayden Planetarium, and eventually climbed his way to the top. He was the one who classified Pluto as a dwarf planet.
