Jeannette the protagonist of the memoir The Glass Castle is a glorious character. Jeannette is most given intelligent, responsible, and an independent character. Jeannette is the most intelligent person in the book because she made her own braces out of coat hangers and rubber. She’s also really flaunted her ability to be responsible. Rose Mary made Jeannette take care of Maureen her younger sister. Lastly Jeannette is independent from her family because she moved to New York City for college and starting a new life. Altogether Jeannette is the most inspirational character in the book, and charted at 230 degrees on the moral temperature chart.
Lori walls the sister of Jeannette and Brains walls. Lori is a fine lady in the book. She is very courageous, smart and caring. Lori is a caring person in the novel The Glass Castle because she cares about her sibling the most. She was trying to save money and move away to NYC because they get a job and send Jeannette to college. She is smart because once she moved to New York she became a fine artist. Lastly she is courageous because she was the only one that wanted to run away from Welsh, away from her grandmother.
Rex is the dad of Jeannette walls. Rex is the most intriguing character in the book. He has multiple personality from being a good guy to a bad guy. Rex is a selfish, smart, careless, and loving father. He is selfish in the book because she took the money that Lori and Jeannette saved so they can go to college. He stole the money because he didn’t want them to go to college. He is a smart man, because he is a skilled electrician and engineer. Third, he is careless to his kids because when Brian cracked open his head, Rex took him to a Native American doctor. Lastly he a loving father to his kids because one night he took them out to see the star and said that “the star is always yours”. How intriguing this guy is at the end of day he will always love his children.
