What are sherpas? Sherpas are a members of a Himalayan people living on the borders of Nepal and Tibet. Sherpas are a very skilled set of people. They are known for their skillfulness in mountaineering. Each year sherpas help many people reach the top of the Himalayan mountains. There are struggles that come with living on top of mountains. Sherpas have to help many clients make it up and down the mountain. They bring their clients supplies such as oxygen, food, and whatever they may need. With this is mind, sherpas have to deal with many safety concerns, life insurance benefits, and concerns for the dead. There are many issues every Sherpa faces. Every year many Sherpas die when trying to reach the summit of Mount Everest.
