10 year old Chet Roscow keeps moving around America because his dad wants to have a god job and lots of money. Chet’s parents said were going to California but Chet’s mom sent him to Elm Hills to Uncle Jerry. Chet works at Uncle Jerry’s dinner and made 3 friends Sid, Monty, and Dewy One day they came in the diner and gave Chet the news paper and said there was a shark attack at the New Jersey shore a man died. But het said sharks don’t kill humans there scared as a bunny.
One day Sid invited Chet to come swimming in the creek so Uncle Jerry drew a map to the creek. When Chet got to the creek he took of cloths and jumped in they all swam but Dewy went down the creek and Sid and Monty were Still swimming and Sid went down the Monty a fin was in the water and Chet yelled for help. Sid came up and laughed we goy you Monty and Dewy came up Chet ran away to the dinner. Chet came up with a plan we has going prank them like he was killed by a shark so he went to the creek put his boot down covered it with ketchup and covered him self with mud then Sid Monty Dewy came and saw and yelled Chet. Chet came out of the water and scared Sid. Sid Monty Dewy all let mad at Chet. Chet was upset even Uncle Jerry found out you went a little to far said Uncle Jerry I know said Chet at the dinner with went 112 degrees so Chet went for a swim he floated on top of the water the bam he bumped into something he looked a shark was coming straight at him then Chet ran to the shore the shark bit Chet’s left cafe bang a gun shot it was Captain Wilson he took Chet to the Hospital. Chet apologized to Sid Monty and Dewy the Uncle jerry said your mom and dad are coming and the live here.
