The Polymer Envoys program would be very good for me because it will help me further my education by conducting research and this could help me when I go for nursing school. It can also teach me how to become better at research and help me grow better at my studies of science and learn how to use it. I think this program will teach me how science operates. I really enjoy science and writing research papers. This program can help me in the field I want to further in life and it will become very useful in life. This program seems to be very interesting and helpful to children my age.…
College is much different from my high school in so many ways. In my high school we was always on the same routine. We had four periods a day and first period started at 7:45 and we was on a block schedule meaning our classes was an hour and thirty minutes long. We had the same classes everyday so more learning during the day and less homework. Immediately after school we had football practice four days a week and played on Fridays. High school Is a good preparation for college, even though while in high school you will never expect what happens in college. In high school your parents were more involved in what go on in your daily life, whether you get in trouble in class or you get sick at lunch.…

The theme of this year’s National History day project is Leadership and Legacy. Our class was given several suggestions of leaders from many countries. I chose to research Ronald Reagan, the 40th president of the United States of American. Ronald Reagan was interesting to learn about. His journey to the White House was not your typical politician’s path. He grew up in typical middle class family and worked several jobs to pay his way through college. His various leadership roles throughout his life eventually led to the most respected job in our country.…
Let me start by introducing myself by saying my name, Kelly Quach. I grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas just two hours and a half away from Little Rock. I live with my parents and an older brother. My parents weren’t able to get the education they wanted and as a typical any asian household they’re a manicurists as a living. My mom and dad wanted me to have a better education to be successful in the future. I have weaknesses in every subject, because no one is perfect and if i had to choose; science would be my stronger subjects. Whenever I attended at my high school, took a lot of science classes and my favorite class was Anatomy and Physiology. I graduated at Southside High School being the last mascot before it was removed and replaced with…
I chose to write about The United Way of America. The reason I chose this organization was because I have seen pretty much advertised in many human service place. Even as a kid, I can recall seeing at least the well-known logo that identifies the organization. Before researching and gathering the information needed to complete this paper, I knew that this organization was a well known nationally established entity. What I did not know was the extent of it service. I was quite shocked to learn that it does not only serve the United States. Its service exceeds far beyond our borders. I was also impressed in the extent of what services it provides.…
The Dred Scott Decision of 1857 ruled that African-Americans, even ones who were not enslaved, were not protected under The Constitution and could never be citizens. This brings up questions that will be answered in this paper. Should slaves be American citizens? Is it morally correct for one to own another human? Does the Dred Scott decision contradict The Declaration of Independence which states that every man is created equal?…
