** Missing Audio Support

- On Windows, an audio device driver simulates a virtual microphone

- Seems Linux will need an ALSA driver as well, however given the amount of time already spent on this project this is left pending

- JACK (http://jackaudio.org/) is another option, however few chat applications support it

- ALSA plug-ins might also be an option - The 'file' plugin seemed promising - Could create a "pipe" and have the plugin read from it, and the app writing to it

- The following [simple plugin] doesn't work though (VLC/Audacity = segfault)

pcm.testing { type file slave { pcm { type hw card 0 device 0 } } infile "/dev/urandom" format "raw"

This project used an Atmega644 microcontroller clocked at 20MHz in each of the two functional modules for processing. Memory storage is provided by a standard Secure Digital (SD) card. Xbee modules provide bidirectional wireless communication and we use the TLV5616 DAC chip for generating analog audio. The LM358 dual op amp provides active filtering to the output of the DAC. Music files can be added to the SD card using any computer with a multimedia card reader. Once the base station detects an SD card inserted into the holder, it awaits data requests from the portable module. The portable module requests data when required and feeds these values into the DAC. The DAC output is low-pass filtered by the op amp, which also buffers the DAC output before it reaches the audio output…

The movie Serpico is about police corruption Frank Serpico, or known as “Paco” which is a police officer who testifies against police corruption, also who got shot in the face for during a drug arrest. Which after that being taken place, none of the officers made one action. Serpico was abandoned by society because after testifying with many people about the corruption really made no difference. Serpico was a good cop for example an officer beaten a young, after that Serpico had took the young male across the street for a cup of coffee treating him well talking with him to get the information that’s needed for the crime the young boy committed, instead of the violent act. All Frank Serpico was about was serving well to protect others with no question. Officers did not work together in a positive and ethical way to do things the right way; they also were accepting bribes from criminals. Overall the police in this film were using their own source of power to commit crimes. While Frank Serpico did his best to stop the police corruption to serve well to his community.…

There was nothing left in their towns, but to some families there was still something there like all the memories. Some moved into different towns to find work and support themselves, but most stayed. The home is where the heart is. These are some of the many things that happened during the Dust Bowl, but what caused the Dust Bowl? The ecological economic phenomenon known as the Dust Bowl that occurred in the 1930’s on the southern plains of the U.S., devastated the wheat farmers and their families and was caused by human migration, weather patterns, and farming practices.…

    Siquijor

History: The island was first sighted by the Spaniards in 1565 during Miguel López de Legaspi's expedition. The Spaniards called the island Isla del Fuego or “Island of Fire,” because the island gave off an eerie glow, which came from the great swarms of fireflies that harbored in the numerous molave trees on the island. A folk legend also has it that many years ago, when the magical island of Siquijor was still nowhere on the face of the earth, a great storm engulfed the Visayan region, and a strong earthquake shook the earth and sea. Amidst the lightning and thunder arose an island from the depths of the ocean’s womb which came to be known as the island of Siquijor, hence the name Isla del Fuego, or "Island of Fire." Oddly enough, in modern times, highland farmers have unraveled giant shell casings under their farm plots, supporting the theory that Siquijor is indeed an island that rose from the sea. Esteban Rodriguez of the Legazpi Expedition in 1565 led the first Spaniards to “discover” the island. He was captain of a small party that left Legazpi’s camp in Bohol to explore the nearby islands which are now called Pamilican, Siquijor, and Negros.…
