Sexual Coercion In Canada
Even though statistics indicate that sexual coercion affects great numbers of Canadians. However, I have never been coerced to engage in any sexual activity that is against my wish or belief. Additionally, no one has ever tried to convince me to engage in a sexual activity when I never wanted to. All the sexual activities have ever had were mutual and at no point in my life have I been harassed or pressurised to engage in sexual behaviour that could cause me harm physically, emotionally or spiritually.
One of the key ways to avoid sexual assault is to be definitive in one’s refusal. Being firm in refusing unwelcome sexual advances will prevent being misinterpreted. Thus, my ‘No’ will always means ‘No’ to anyone who tries to convince me to engage
