Sexting between teenagers is mainly done as a joke or because of pressure. A study shows that 40% of teens sext as a joke while 12% are pressured into it. Another study has shown that ⅕ teens will experience sexting coercion . Both of these statistics are quite troublesome when you keep in mind that sexting is mainly done by teenagers who don’t fully understand the legal trouble they can get
