Games Played at Home
Overall, games played at home provide a healthy activity and communication for the whole family. Many people believe that the time spent on playing games at home contributes to a sense of closeness between family members, giving them time to relax together and strengthen family ties. Three types of games played at home, that remained popular over many years, are card games, board games and outdoor games.
To begin with, card games are still popular among many families. Bridge, canasta, rummy and whist are just a few games from the hundreds that can be played with a deck of simple cards. A popular film star Omar Sharif gave “The Bridge” a popular advertising in his new book and in national talk show. With the popular approval this game received attention and arousal. Canasta and rummy always were games for group of people, especially in the northern climates where people used to be inside during the winter. These card games are offering a healthy way to spend free time with family and these games remained popular to this day.
Secondly, board games also remained very popular in the typical family. Monopoly,
Clue, checkers, chess, and newer games like Trivial Pursuit are some of the few board games currently for sale in the market. Clue was so successful from board games that it got a version of a video game as well. Monopoly is the most standard board game. Which family does not have one in any cabinet? His assumption enters the heart of every human - to become successful and earn a lot of money to be happy; this is the most important games of chance. Trivial Pursuit, new to the board game market, has become very popular among young professionals, who are playing it at a parties and weekend meetings.
