Subject Introduction to IT & the Internet Time 10.30am – 12.00 noon Duration 1.5hrs
Aim of session To introduce learner to the online course, describing what will be covered. Learner to switch laptop on & off independently & practice mouse control & keyboard use. Learning style & any specific needs will be accommodated in the session.

Learner will practice switching on & shutting down laptop
Learner will begin to gain confidence in mouse & keyboard control by playing a simple game
