Service Academy Motivation
America has been founded on, and continuously defined by, extraordinary leaders. Without the exceptional guidance and tireless dedication of generations of these men and women, our country would not be the great nation it is today. What they stood for, and what was accomplished under their guidance, has inspired me; I am driven to someday continue and protect this nation’s greatness through my leadership. This desire, paired with my passion for the service, is what has, and continues to, motivate me to attend a U.S. service academy. Furthermore, our nation has given far more to me than I will ever be capable of returning; the opportunities, education, and freedoms I have experienced throughout my life have built the skills and character I possess today.
