Servant Leadership Case Study
Servant leadership focuses on the needs of the employees and the stockholders instead of the needs of the leader of the organization. This way the organization benefits itself in a chain reaction, when employees are happy and motivated they will give excellent customer service and when clients are happy they will use your services again. When clients use the service of the organization again and refer your company the organizations receives more money and in the end will result in the stockholders being happy.
Sothwest Airlines is an organization that follows this type of leadership with their golden rule that says to treat people that way you want to be treated. I personally try to apply this rule to my life every day and I believe Grand Canyon

Greenleaf’s definition of servant leadership is one which is based on teamwork and community while seeking to involve others in the decision making and is strongly based in ethical and caring behavior while enhancing the growth of people (Spears, 1996).
