Senior Year Accomplishments
Last year, I made many accomplishments. Out of all of them the most significant one was getting my first job at the age of sixteen. It has impacted me the most. Getting a job has brought growth and maturity to my life. I am prepared for the next stages in my life.

During earlier times in my life as a child, I went to the adults around me for the things I wanted. Not always were those things I wished for granted to me but, either way I still never did things on my own. I was still trying to transition from a child to an adult.

My eleventh grade summer my family experienced financial problems. It was hard seeing my family struggle to pay bills or even buy clothes to put on our backs. I knew my senior year would be hard and stressful

A jubilant hello from Alabama! I am Valerie and my most rewarding accomplishment stands about 5 foot in height, and she is 10-years of age. My greatest blessing, joyfully filled my heart at the age of nine when Jesus Christ became my Savior. When my daughter was of the age of two, I received a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education. Because God’s hand has directed me to travel a new path, I am pursuing an M.B.A. in Leadership. Frankly, I lack experience in international business, with this marking my second semester in the business program. With careful consideration, I chose Liberty University based on the university commitment to educating accompanied with a biblical perspective. Ultimately, I want a business that honors God by spreading…

There are several goals I have set for myself in college; I aspire to make the dean's-list in all the years I attend college, I anticipate participating in a minimum of two organizations which can get me more absorbed in the community, and finally, I want to become involved with the student body, and attend as many school sponsored events as I can. In my junior year, when I heard I made the honor roll at my high school, I was overcome with a feeling of fulfillment. This was the first time I had made the honor roll and with this achievement was a feeling of pride for the work I put in, and for the way the work reflected in my grades. But, I stayed hungry and kept working to maintain this honor, and I finished on the honor role for the entirety…

I looked day and night because I knew what my grandmother had told me was right. If I wanted things, I had to be independent and get it myself because no one else would do it for me. I eventually found a job at McDonald’s and began to save up my money so I could reach other goals. After saving up enough money, I bought a car. I began to then buy all the little things that I wanted. The feeling of independency was great. I didn’t have to ask my mother or my grandmother for anything. I got it all on my own and I was extremely proud of myself. I applied my grandmother’s aphorism of being independent because I knew adult was coming quickly. I needed to prepare myself for something great. I would soon be on my own, and I would have no one to rely on but myself. I knew that my mom wanted me to be independent so that was a goal I had to reach. Anytime someone felt like their parents would be there for them forever, I would share my grandmother’s aphorism with…

I am the one in the picture with the sloppy bun in my hair and the bright red cheeks. The one who can't stop smiling. With all my friends surrounding me, it was one of the best days of my life. All fifteen of us look happy; it was a night for many smiles. Everyone is crowded around the table. There are a lot of red cheeks in the picture; the room was as hot as a sauna. There was a strong smell of barbeque sauce in the air as well. The picture was taken right after dinner. The table we are crowded around is messy. There are a lot of cups on the table and bottles of ketchup and barbeque sauce, with dirty, green napkins piled up. The restaurant was as noisy as the circus when the clowns perform. There were a lot of pictures taken that night, but out of all the pictures, this is the best one taken of everyone. Crouched down in front is Brent Dana. He has a grin on his face more than a smile. Brent hates pictures, and he doesn't smile in any of them; he is wearing his red "Rag Tails" shirt that he always wears. Next to Brent is Jade Walker. She has her hair back and is wearing her red "North Face" jacket. Jade has an adorable smile on her face. Next to Jade is Mary Attaway leaning over the table wearing a flowered backless shirt with a black sweater. To the right of Mary is Laura Jones. Laura is slightly leaning her head toward her right shoulder and is wearing a blue shirt with a drawstring tie in front. Laura has her arm around Erica Farnsworth, who has a yellow shirt and white jacket on. She looks especially happy; she is smiling from ear to ear. Starting in the left hand comer (in row two) are Chad Phillips and Caitlin Pollock standing together. Chad has his arms around Caitlin's waist. He has this cute little grin, and Caitlin has a huge smile and rosy red cheeks. Brittany Wilkins is next to Caitlin with a puzzled look on her face, the face you would see in a hard Algebra II exam when you don't think you even learned what the question is asking. To the top right of…
