                                        Selma Movie Review
The movie Selma is about a civil rights leader and his journey to fight for the freedom  of his people. It was the dream of this man to put an end to the mistreatment of blacks in the  United States. The African Americans fought for their freedom in south of the United States.  These people were facing racism and mistreatment from the whites during this time period.  Although in the north of the United States, people had no problem associating with blacks.  Throughout the film it showed the protest that had taken place in the late 1960s. My opinion of  the film was that appeared to me that the creator of it wanted to get a point across. The point  was that no matter what color you are you shouldn’t judge and mistreat one another. Also, if  you have a problem you should not result to violence, in which it is better to take care of it in a  peaceful manner. The evidence from the movie to support my opinion is when the people  were crossing the bridge from Selma to Montgomery. When the blacks got to the end of the  bridge the white policemen were waiting for them. They told them that if they did not head  back, they would force violence on them. The policemen began a countdown. They did not  move and they just stood there for their own rights. Then the policeman threw gas onto the
